Asia Foods (Nanjing) Co., Ltd. is a wholly foreign-owned enterprise (Taiwanese enterprise), founded in 1993 with a registered capital of USD 5.4 million, and is engaged in the processing of frozen vegetables and fruits. It mainly produces more than ten kinds of products such as frozen edamame, shelled edamame, bamboo shoots, green bamboo shoots, spring bamboo shoots, mushrooms, water chestnuts, broccoli, white cauliflower, sugar snap peas, green beans, okra, green onions, mixed vegetables and so on. The company covers an area of 22,642 square meters, and the factory area covers15,134 square meters. The annual output is about 12,000 tons, the cold storage capacity is 3,800 tons, and the number of employees is 250. The main equipment includes: CANADA AERO IQF; MATSUDA AUTOMATIC PACKAGING MACHINE; ISHDA/ANLI METAL DETECTOR; AGILENT 7890D/AGILENT 6890N/AGILENT GC/MS (6896N/5975B) PESTICIDE RESIDUE DETECTOR. The company is a nationally registered and approved food production and processing enterprise with self-export qualifications. The export port is Xiamen Port. The company is about 100 kilometers away from Xiamen Port (about 90 minutes by car). The products are mainly sold to the United States, Japan, Australia, South Korea, Europe and other countries and regions. In terms of food safety control, the company has the ability to detect microorganisms such as Aerobic plate count, coliforms, E.coli, Salmonella, yeast and mold, Listeria, Staphylococcus aureus, etc. Besides, the ability to test pesticide residues has reached more than 92 items. In terms of enterprise qualification certification，it was the first company to pass the HACCP certification for frozen vegetable processing in December, 2000. In 2001, it passed the Japan JONA organic spring bamboo shoots processing certification. In April 2003 it obtained ISO22000-CQC certification. In July 2007, it obtained KOSHER CERTIFICATION certification.
